I know Slipknot is kinda "violent" music, but they have an excellent drummer and there guitar is really loud. Their best songs are Duality and Before I Forget. Check it out!

I've always liked a lot of Smashing Pumpkins songs. The drummer for that band was pretty awesome, and there were lots of times when he'd just go crazy drumming his ass off. And a lot of that band's guitars were loud too.
