I need your opinion

So, my brother just got an offer to join the rest of our Croatian troops in Afghanistan...He doesn't know what to do...I'm in the military also but I haven't joined the SF yet...And I think that I won't...He's a war veteran, he was in the Croatian War of Independence...but that was something different in that war he fought for his country but in my opinion the ISAF mission has nothing to do with Croatia...he saw a lot of gruesome things in that war and I think that he has a mild case of PTSD...He's assuring me that he'll be ok, but I'm not so sure...What do you guys think should he go or not?

well in my opinion he's mentally unfit,but he's hidin' it so good that there's no way a psychiatrist would figure it out... Anyway since Croatia joined NATO there was a lot of personnel that came from other NATO countries even psychiatrists so maybe he'll go on a foreign evaluation...
