According to the "GameSpot Users" section of the forum tab, there are 51,945 users online RIGHT NOW.

I didn't even know GS had that many users. :shock:

Does anyone have an idea of how many users are registered on this site?

that sounds more like a reasonable estimate for the active forum community members, all those who just look at game infoarent real GSers :P

That counter changes with the seasons. I remember when it used to read about 10k and then all of sudden it was 1k... and now that, apparently.

I remember about a year and a half ago or two years ago, everyone was wondering if GS was going to die because the numbers were rather low.

Yeah, I also remember back when the numbers were low (some nights it went below 1,000)... But it seems like things have picked up again!

You have to take into consideration that most people leave their account logged in all the time, even when they're away.

....I swear I've seen this thread before a couple months back. On topic : No idea but a lot of those users don't even visit the forums I bet. Just here for the vids and ratings.
