I ordered a new PS3 Slim from Amazon.com.

So I decided to acquire the new PS3 model, along with a couple of games -Assassin's Creed & Army of Two-; I also ordered a Jabra headset for online gaming.

Now; the funny thing is... I chose Free Super Saver Shipping for the PS3 console only, which means that I'll get the games and headset before I can play/use them.

Until now, the console hasn't yet been shipped, but its shipping estimate is tomorrow -October 05-. Whic sucks, because the delivery estimate of the games is on October 06.

Has anyone of you picked or chosen the Free Super Saver Shipping from Amazon.com? If so...what was the longest you had to wait for your items to be delivered?

I was thinking about switching to One-Day shipping but it's too late now; the order can't be cancelled nor changed.:?

I've never, ever had to wait as long as Amazon says for Free Super Saver Shipping. Everything always arrives a couple of days early (for me, anyway; maybe I'm in a good location). I love it, and I love Amazon.

Ha; yeah... Amazon does ship your stuff fro free if it is "Eligible" and sums up to $35 Canadian Dollars or more. For an item to be eligible; it has be bought directly from Amazon or a partner of Amazon. Like BestBuy and all those companies with known names.

I only buy from Amazon.com, and it's always free super saving shipping when it's available (which is most of the time). It usually takes 6-8 days for me to get what I order.

I live really close to one of Amazon's distribution centers. So I always choose the free shipping and I usually get it the day after it ships. :DEddie5vs1

I once ordered a motherboard from Amazon with the cheapo 5-7 day shipping and i got it in 2 ( same as it would have been with next day ).

I have ordered with Amazon consistently and very rarely have the products I ordered from their warehouse not arrive a couple days before the delivery estimate. If they shipped today, you will likely see your PS3 by Thursday. Friday if you're a little unlucky.

A couple weeks one or two times, but that's because one or two of the items didn't ship for 1-2 weeks and since they are all packaged together, it slows down the rest of them. When you choose super saver, you get to save quite a bit in shipping costs, but you have to accept the fact that it may not ship as soon as you want it to or when it would normally ship when you pay for it.

With Super Saver Delivery, I've only had to wait about a week. Which is good if you don't mind the wait.
