any thoughts?

You shouldn't have but I understand there are always people adverse to change which is odd considering the nature of the show. Go watch the Vincent Van Gogh episode though as it's pretty damn good.
ARRG You were supposed to say "No, Doctor Who". :P How so?[QUOTE="xaos"][QUOTE="Head_of_games"] Doctor what? :PHead_of_games
Did you even give him a chance? Go ahead, watch about the first three episodes or so. And also, Karen Gillan. That's all I'm going to say. (Yes, I might be a bit obsessed).any thoughts?

You're missing the best writing of the new series featuring the second best Doctor since it returned to television. I don't understand why so many people are so closed off to change in the series; that's how the show has managed to survive almost 50 years. If everyone were to say "New guy! Don't like the way he looks and won't watch it" the show wouldn't have made it past the fifth season in 1966.
I watched the first episode and stopped watching.I don't know if it's going to be anything after the first episode, but I wasn't really encouraged to keep watching.

Regeneration stories have always been some of the weakest. There's not much you can do outside of "the Doctor is bats*** right now, watch him do wacky things until the last two minutes"
Best thing on TV right now :)
When I first saw Matt Smith I just thought he look weird  but that wasn't going to stop me from watching the new series. I too had my doubts about him, when I first saw clips of the new series I didn't think Matt Smith would last longer than a year. Now I hope he sticks around for several years, not only is he good but the writing is some of the best there has been in years.
There's also Karen Gillan to keep me coming back for more too :D
