Need to know out of curiosity if this is good or not.
Let me know guys. I don't even think I could do that in high school. But let me know if this is good or not.

no, its not good you need to try running alot more, people I know who run in the army who are that age run 2 miles in about 15 mins
my team leader whos 40 runs the 2 mile in 13 mins so you got some work to do
29, i assume you run slower than in middle school or high school or college.
Maybe you should time yourself running a mile non stop and you'll be amazed you'll run 8 minutes easily
Thats really slow. Thats over 2 minutes for a quarter of a mile which is one lap on usual tracks. A good mile is at least less than 7 min. and 8 min. at most if your fat or something.
If you're not in any type of athletic shape, I'd say running a mile in under 10 minutes is pretty good. Most people, if they are physically active and in good shape, can do it in under 8 minutes.
I ran about a 6 minute mile in middle school... I was running fairly hard, but I COULD have pushed myself harder if I was trying to go as fast as I could to break a personal record or something.
I don't know if 6 minutes is fast, but thats what I ran in middle school.
Finally a straight answer. In that case, I will attempt to bring it down to about 8 or 7 minutes. Thank you.If you're not in any type of athletic shape, I'd say running a mile in under 10 minutes is pretty good. Stop overpopulating the planet, plz.
I was really fat in high school, so I was up around the 12+ min range. It always sucked being the last person to finish.
I'm 26 now, and in a lot better shape. I haven't run a mile in awhile, but I ran 1.5 in about 11:00 a couple weeks ago.
I personally consider 8 minutes to be the bar for a healthy, active person. I always thought this because of my health teacher in high school.
I can walk a mile slightly under 10 minutes. Granted i am 17, but if figure that if even if you are 29 you should still be able to run a bit faster than i can walk.

Thats pretty dam good BMD, In highschool i used to get around that all the time and my fastest was 5 mins 47 seconds, idk how i would go now, But TC anything below 8mins is good but you def wanna aim lowerIt depends . How much does your 15 year old brother bench press ? raiden509hahahahhahaha nice one
I'm 16 years old, in adequate (not excellent) physical shape and I can do 1.2 km (0.75 miles) in 5 minutes 30 seconds. You're bloody slow.
good job! I congratulate you buddy. I am only competent enough to run a ters mile and i am impressed by your accomplishment!
I'm a junior in high school; I consider myself fat and I run a 7:20 mile. Yup, you need to improve :P

Well you should think about how devastated this man (the TC) will be when your reply makes him feel like a small child. Sacrifice you self esteem for the common man,

People get more feeble after they reach a certain point in the aging process. If anything r4v3gl0ry is simply preparing him for the old age that he's about to reach.[QUOTE="bazookajoe19"][QUOTE="r4v3gl0ry"]
