I Saw Something At the Airport Today...Is It What I Think It Is???

Well i went to the Toronto Pearson International Airport earlier tonight to bid my mom farewell because she's going back to Taiwan for a while. When I was about to leave, I looked up and saw this sign which had the washroom symbols (male/female silhouette), and then right under that...i saw a symbol of a man kneeling down, with his hands together...sort of like in a praying position. On top of the figure, there was a triangular roof. I was just wondering if it's those places where Muslims can go pray that were mentioned on the news before...

Have any of you seen anything similar at your local airport?

Hmm..that's odd . THe last time i went to Pearson was like 3 years ago and I never saw that. My dad went more recently and I asked him and he said he didn't notice it . Well it might a be a chappel thingy.

PS : Taiwan is one of my favorite countries.

But seriously, i'm not taiwanese, and the sign was probably pointing towards mecca, since muslims have to pray facing mecca, it's convenient.

It's for Muslims to pray that they can go through an airport without being harassed more than everyone else.
