I Smashed My Guitar To Bits Last Night

I was having a drunk jam with some people I know and I got really caught up in the moment and smashed one of my guitars to bits. It was a cathartic excperience at the time but now that I look back on it I kinda regret it. I liked that guitar :( Oh well its in a better place now as I've sacrificed it to the guitar gods

Eh, it's a strat, they're nothing special. I wouldn't be too upset. :P

its not something you think about beforehand and come to a logical conclusion that youre going to destroy your eqiuipment (thats lame). its just something you do in the moment and maybe regret later if youre not already a millionaire rockstar..

What's the point of smashing any guitar, drunk or not? This reminds me of when Kyle Busch smashed a Gibson Les Paul after winning at the Nashville Superspeedway. Yes, it was a solid, 9 pound mahogany Gibson Les Paul. It was a custom made guitar, given as a trophy for winning the race (This is NASCAR Sprint Cup just so you know) and he managed to break it. What a waste. Here's a picture of Busch holding up his... er... trophy.
