Just be calm...try to pretend like you've been doing this forever. Do everything the way you're told to do it and you'll be fine.

Yeah, there's a few jobs I could get, but none I'd really consider. I get a lot more options once I turn 16 next May.

I'm 16, but I believe they hire at 15. Maybe even younger at some places.

lol at 16 your options will almost all pay minimum wage unless you know someone special. Don't be picky, no matter what you do as a kid, or how cool it sounds, the job is going to suck.

Yeah I guess you're right, almost all of the jobs you can get at this age are fast food. I'm not even sure I can get a different kind of job until I'm 18. I just want a job that isn't too crazy and busy but not a snorefest either.

Yeah, just pick a job and stick to it. I think it will be good for your resume if you show that you can commit to a crappy job, shows that you have patience.

If youre not going to be there, make sure to call atleast 2 hours before your shift starts! My friend got fired last week because he wouldnt call and he didnt show up.

I worked at dominoes before, it sucks pretty bad. If you dont know the codes and abbreviations for all the food for the computer your already screwed because you wont be able to put in orders. You will be standing all day at dominoes so i suggest you wear some good shoes with padding and maybe a back brace if you have a weak back.

Just remember that every last person you are working with was new to the job at some point, you are no different.

Pay attention and keep your wits about you.

Good luck! The first couple of weeks at a new job are always kind of intimidating. You'll be fine once you get used to the routines there. Just go into it with an open mind, be friendly, and be willing to work hard and take direction. Don't be afraid to ask questions if you don't know what you're doing. It's better to ask and get a correct answer than to guess about something and be potentially wrong.
