I begin my first job ever today at Domino's Pizza. I have to admit I am somewhat nervous about something bad happening. Anyone got any tips or hints that helped them get threw their first couple of days on a job? I sure could use them.

I was so nervous a couple months ago when I got my first job
Just stay cool, do what they tell you, and dont be afraid to ask for help with something you dont know how to do. Ive been working several Months at Burger King and I did what I told you to do and im fine. Good luck bro!
[QUOTE="Zaeryn"]Good luck. I'm 15 and hoping to get a job in a year.Matt-4542Some Burger king places hire 15 year olds. Maybe you can try there?Yeah, there's a few jobs I could get, but none I'd really consider. I get a lot more options once I turn 16 next May.
i hate you. how old do you have to be to work there btw?Xeros606
I'm 16, but I believe they hire at 15. Maybe even younger at some places.

lol at 16 your options will almost all pay minimum wage unless you know someone special. Don't be picky, no matter what you do as a kid, or how cool it sounds, the job is going to suck.

Yeah I guess you're right, almost all of the jobs you can get at this age are fast food. I'm not even sure I can get a different kind of job until I'm 18. I just want a job that isn't too crazy and busy but not a snorefest either.lol at 16 your options will almost all pay minimum wage unless you know someone special. Yeah, just pick a job and stick to it. I think it will be good for your resume if you show that you can commit to a crappy job, shows that you have patience.

I worked at dominoes before, it sucks pretty bad. If you dont know the codes and abbreviations for all the food for the computer your already screwed because you wont be able to put in orders. You will be standing all day at dominoes so i suggest you wear some good shoes with padding and maybe a back brace if you have a weak back.
just explain to people if it looks like there getting frustrated that your new.linkin_guy109
I've been riding that excuse for 4 years now.
Just remember that every last person you are working with was new to the job at some point, you are no different.
Pay attention and keep your wits about you.
