I think Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince is going to be a boring movie

It's coming out on November 2008, but that isn't going to change anything. It didn't really add anything except from SPOILERS dumbledore's death.

I mean, the book was flooded with 600 hundred pages of Harry talking with Dumbledore and trying to attract Ginny! I wish the movie will put a little more action than talking about Voldemort (GS users gasp) and dating girlfriends.

This way we may finally see a worthy HP movie (5 wasn't what it was cracked up to be).

I hated the book.. It seemed more like it was written as fanservice. So yes, I think the movie will be pretty bad and boring.

Maybe, but I care more about the little interactions between Harry, Ron and Hermione more than anything. I couldn't care less if there wasn't a climax in the movie.

LotR books were decent enough, especially the Fellowship. The movies were not quite as good but again, decent enough.

i think as the books started off amazing and gradually became enormous and convoluted with wierd stories parts that never seemed to go anywhere, the films are doing the opposite.

I still really like reading the books but my favourite were the first few as i thought they started to go abit downhill from the 5th. Whereas, i think the films have gradually got alot better after number 2. The cast have grown up and can actually act, and the directors have had the sense to cut out the crap bits of the book and reinterpret those into good scenes in the films.

Hopefully the 6th film will be great, because i need something to look forward to for next year. The matrix trilogy ended, the LOTR trilogy ended, the bourne trilogy ended. this is the only 'series' that is still continuing.

The only HP movie I didn't like all that much was Chamber of Secrets, and parts of Prisoner of Azkaban. But I hope they do try to make a decent shot at the sixth movie...and most definitely the seventh when that is finally released.

Until then, well, I just re-watched the extended editions of the Lord of the Rings these past three days...they and others will just have to keep me entertained.
