I think I got caught skipping school.

So I decided today to skip school. Partly because I have this cold but mostly because there is this big project due today for my English class that I did not do. Everything was going great until around 20 minutes ago when my dad called the house. No one is supposed to be home right now so him calling the house had to be either a mistake or he found out I was skipping school. I'm pretty sure it wasn't a mistake because the phone rang for a long ass time. I didn't pick it up in the slim chance it was a mistake he called the house. This is my 4th time skipping school and I never do it in the same week. I think they called my dad cause of my absences but I've seen people skip weeks from the school i go to, which is a school for people who get expelled from zone school, and apparently nothing happened to them.

I'm **** tripping balls right now and I just had to post this some **** where. My dad is gonna curbstomp me when he gets home if he found out i was skipping even though there is 1 week of school left.

Why not just have your mom/dad call you in sick or something instead of ditching?

I live with my dad only and he wouldn't make me stay home for a cold. He just told me to take some cold medicine. I mean its a sorta bad cold i'm coughing everywhere but unless its pretty major like when a bee stung my face and I got to say home for 3 days I have to go to school.

I only get absent when I am sick, I never get absent to extend due date of a homework in any case.

Oh **** guess what. My dad was just telling me to make some pizzas for dinner. That still doesn't explain why he called earlier though. He had a sad tone to his voice so maybe he knows i skipped but is waiting till he comes home to beat the **** out of me or i'm just imagining things.

And to answer your question my teacher would still accept the work tomorrow. I'll just tell her i was sick and had to stay home.

To learn a trade and get credit for it in an apprenticeship program you usually have to be 18 and have a high school diploma or a GED. Or he can join the military learn a trade, which also requires a high school diploma or GED. So why not just study trades after school now and not spend time later down the road afterwards trying to get a GED.

I learned a ton. Most of my freshmen classes and even a few of my sophomore classes were jokes compared to the ass kicking my teachers handed out. (My calculus teacher was a freaking genius. I ended up showing the professors better ways to do problems in my first few calculus classes)

I doubt he wouldn't confront you on the phone about it if he found out you skipped. He probably just sounded sad because he has to work.

This is why I always get work done several days before it's due at college. That way, when you're skipping a day you need not worry about handing in work. I only ever skip college on lessons that I'm ahead of the work in.

It's never a good idea to skip if you've not done homework. Because you'll be behind on that days work as well as the homework you didn't do.

I guess you have never been to an alternatitve school. If I was a teacher there I, like my english teacher, wouldn't give a **** The kids at my school got expelled for a reason, they weren't star students back at there zone school and They for sure aren't going to be here. You have to realize my school brings all the worst kids from an entire county together and puts them in a class room.Teachers quit all the time, especially those who try to act like this school is on par with the average public school because of the bad as **** kids there.One teacher went ****ing crazy when someone threw a orange wrapped up in paper with tape over it at her head when she was infront of a board in the class room and she started cussing all the kids out and everything. She quit the next day. Eventually, I don't care who you are, you will stop giving a **** if you taught at excel.

It happens. There are some tough as hell dads out there. Most only resort to hitting objects and yelling profanities at their kids but some are a little more old school. I feel for those kids.

He just punches me and **** and yells profanities but thats pretty much. No belt **** either I stopped getting hit with a belt when i was like 10.
