How artists like Akon or Nelly Furtado are super rich and get great record deals just because they have the mainstream image, which makes bands that actually love what they do have to sit in the back of the bus, like modest mouse.There are many, many others but I don't want to list them

they have 3 albums with a major record deal. just because you havent heard them places doesnt mean they arent bigger than your just in your iPod

In your opinon, but I would almost have to agree with you on that one.
i dont really care....as long as i get to hear whatever music i like then im good....i dont watch mtv or use the radio so airtime for the major artists dont matter to me
