i think my friend stole my money...

yes, that pos isn't my friend anymore. Recently I noticed I lost $100, which I was saving up for a piano. Anyway, I notice he locked himself in my room yesterday, and wouldn't give me a answer when I asked him why he did it. Anyways, I notice today he had a new PSP, when he's usually dirt poor. He's 16, but I recently turned 17.

My blood is boiling right now since that was my birthday money, there's a possibility my mother could've borrowed it without asking. Right now I'm really out there, I've never been this angry in my entire life. The worst thing is he met me with a jerk attitude today at school. What should I do? Sue his family? I'm willing to go that far. Oh, and my brother's in the law enfrocement.

I had the same problem a few years ago with my friend. I had $50 bucks in my drawer and once i found out that it was missing i confronted him about it. I found out later that it was my sister that stole $50. Don't go confronting him until your 120% it was him.

I'm certain my friend took 37 dollars, (thank god) my mother took fifty and she said shes gonna replace it. Now he still took 37, what should I do to him? Break his PSP?

There's a limit to how little you can sue someone for. It can't be for a small amount like 100 dollars, so that wouldn't fly with the courts. You also have no proof or one shred of evidence, so you can't exactly tell authority on him. You don't know for sure if he was the one who took it. How long has he been your friend? Is it something he's known for? I wouldn't go making assumptions until you confront him reasonably about it first. It's not worth the risk of losing a potentially great friend.

 if you were saving up for a piano..i dont think $100 is gonne be a big dent in your savings...you wouldve needed like 1100 more...

 and why would you sue over $100?? At most confront him on it and if you are convinced that he did it...act like a bookie and tell him he has X days to give it back until there are "consequences"
