Why not? Loads of people would love it and the nielson charts would be off the scale. Loads of tv ads would profit and it would increase tv sales.TeamDogFortressehh why dont you just...I dont know...ban the DP instead of transmitting it through TV? btw there is a name for your condition if you like to see other people suffering...its called sadism...and its a mental dissorder

No one would watch, advertising would be a minefield, companies who advertise during an execution could get battered. And its sick, an insult on top to the person being executed, even if they deserve it
[QUOTE="TeamDogFortress"][QUOTE="chessmaster1989"]Why the hell would anyone want to watch Jersey Shore? people watch jersey shore? Yes, they do. It's good, brainless, entertainment. And as for the OP. No. Trust me, you don't want that on national television. Why the hell would anyone want to watch an execution? :|

You are lying to yourself if you think no one would watchNo one would watch, advertising would be a minefield, companies who advertise during an execution could get battered. And its sick, an insult on top to the person being executed, even if they deserve it

It would make alot of money if you put it on pay-per-view. People can lie to themselves all they want on here but realistically alot of people would want to see it. Not everyone of course but enough to make it worth while money wisetestfactor888
No lie, watching someone get killed by lethal injection would probably be incredibly boring...
[QUOTE="Overlord93"]You are lying to yourself if you think no one would watch Ok, but by no one, I mean, no one with moral values.............well, actually, I'd probably take a quick peek at one, if it was late at night. This thread reminds me of that program where they reenacted what it would be like if Gary Glitter was executedNo one would watch, advertising would be a minefield, companies who advertise during an execution could get battered. And its sick, an insult on top to the person being executed, even if they deserve it

When they give someone a lethal injection, do they still have to sterilize the needle?I've always thought they should do corporal punishment at school assemblies to increase the humiliation factor. Televising executions is just one step past that. They could show all the police photos of the victim(s) and other exhibits that convicted the murderer, then show them get hanged.

I was thinking more along the line of hangings or shootings.ya that would be even better. We could put the people on a street and do a bull run (this might be too extreme and torturous. we should only use something like this on people who did really grusome unthinkable torture murders)two words:
Death Race

Because we strive to be a civilized people?Sajo7Deep down we are only civilized till the power goes out. Than pew pew explosion dead :P
No, I seriously question the mentality of someone who would want to watch that.Would you wanna see people tortured too? Sick.
