I've always thought they should do corporal punishment at school assemblies to increase the humiliation factor. Televising executions is just one step past that. They could show all the police photos of the victim(s) and other exhibits that convicted the murderer, then show them get hanged.

It'd be pretty messed up, especially if a child accidentally changed the channel to it and watched and ended up scarred for life.

I would only watch an execution if it was in a game show format like the Running Man.

Fights to the death between death row inmates would be better.
