Well, first things first, its gunna cost you about 40k per year out of state tuition...

Then...:

They accepted42k applications last year, of which 11k were accepted into the school.

Their average freshman GPA was a 4.0

ACT of 25

SAT of 1298 (out of 1600)

Hey man, you go for it. Nowadays you need a college education to do almost anything, so it's for your own good.

ok...4.14 average gpa (as of 2006) 25 act sat score of about 2000+ 25 percent acceptance rate... but they are a holistic acceptance university....you need to be active in the school they are also the UC that has wierd acceptance....like they accept from the top tier students, middle, and lower... its just odd acceptance

1. Pay for it.

2. Get someone else to pay for it. (In other words, work your ass off studying and get a scholarship)

You don't NEED to go to a tier 1 college to have a great life. Go to college in general and strive to be the best, and you can't lose.

Acceptance rate: 27% WTF?  Well I guess it is California and they probably have a lot of applications but still.

Temple University in Philly has a 63% acceptance rate, even the university i'm going to (Rutgers) has a 61% acceptance rate.

I am 15, So I starting to think too.

Is BU (Boston Univirsity) a good school to major in either Sociology or Internation Affairs?

Also do most college still offer the program where if they don't offer you major, they will set you up somewhere that does that is nearby?

It's your choice really. Do some research and check out which schools offer those degrees.

It was looking good, I live in Newport,RI and while it is extremely historic ,it is boring, I like Boston, it is around a 45 minute drive, So I can visit my parents and bro fairly often.
