On April 13, 2007, It was my grandfather's birthday ( 68 ) and he had a seizure and fell off the counter at his house while eating and hit his head. They did a CAT Scan on his head to see if he damage his head and found a brain tumor. 2 Centimeters & Glioblastoma Tumor. The Doctors did all they could (Surgery, Gamma Knife & Medicine) and they gave him 3-5 years. He just turned 69 years old yesterday and we all celebrated his birthday.

Since last summer, my brother has been suffering from migraines and on Mid-February he vomited. Since that time, he vomited almost at least once, daily. My mom went to the Family Doctor after the first time and asked for a Cat Scan. They didn't give it to him. They sent him to a neurologist and he diagnosed him with "wrong prescription clas.sess" then, "severe migraines". On 4/1/08 - He had a severe episode and my mom went to the ER where he vomited severely a couple times. They did a Cat Scan and found a brain tumor. It was malignant and spread to the spine. They performed surgery on him and it was a success. He is starting Radiation next week. If he recovers, he will most likely have permanent double vision.

That sucks. My grandpa died of brain, lung, and prostate cancer all at the same time. This story would be best put in a Blog.

Thats sad. My mother threw a pulmonary embolism. It was the size of a licorice stick. The good lord knocked it out. Most doctors couldn't believe she was alive. She is now cured so keep hope.

Not sure what you mean by agreesive one but malignant tumors are cancerous and there is a chance of it reocurring, especially during the first 2 years. He's still got a tumor on his spine and most of it from the brain is removed.

Yeah but the mods don't like these kind of posts(when someone tells a story and doesn't ask for discussion). I personally think they're fine but I just wanted to say it before a mod shows up and locks it.

yea, I know. Trust me, I KNOW. Combined, I think I have modded like 50-60 times. Mods of the old days were cool but I seriously think they have 13-14 year old mods now. I don't know whats up with. It's nice to see OT still up and active. Good times, good times. *Sheds Tear*

thats what I ment with "agressive". a tumor that grows back after its removed and spreading out to other bodyparts. man I wish both your brother and grandfather the best.

my uncle had a tumor on his brain the size of an orange, the doctors removed almost everything except the parts that are located on fital parts of the brain, so it grows back and he must have surgery every year. His brain is damaged by it and he cant speak and write properly.

Man, I hope that doesn't happen to my brother. They left the part on his brain stem as they cant touch that. He's going to have radiation to remove everything else.

It was 42mm or 4 cm. It was pretty big. I hope everything will be ok

Your uncle must have strong will. I would have killed myself if I had to do that yearly.

Even if the kid is lying, keep these comments to yourself. No one knows for certain whether what he says is true. If it is infact true, your comments are incredibly hurtful.

That's sad, but he is really lucky they were able to operate and it was a success. You always here of people that are fine one day and the next they feel sick and find out they have a brain tumor and only have months to live.
