I worship you! Anyways, it's just as Robograndma says. :) How long it will take you? That's very personal and you will only know yourself how long time it will take, but IMO, when it comes to music. It's not about how long time it takes to become decent, it's about how much fun you have while playing it! :)

It all depends really.

If you practise a lot then you will obviously find it easier to read in a shorter space of time. Although some people just find those kinds of things easy to begin with and they pick it up quickly.

Couldnt say for sure how you'll find it though, but learning music is Fun, although frustrating at times, just stick with it and you'll be getting there quicker than you know

The reality (despite all the wonderful replies so far) is that everything depends on how motivated you are to doing it, you'll progress faster and become better at both the more you do it and the more you're into it.

It's all up to you. There is no magical answer like 2 months, a year, 3 days.

In a piece of piano music there are two lines of music on the sheet the "upper" part (Melody on the right hand) and the "lower" part (Bass on the left hand) sheet music
These two parts are played simeoultaneously by the player and have different scales according to the clef that is at the start of every line (in the example, both lines are in the treble clef. There is also a bass clef that often occupies the lower line) . It takes dedication and plenty of practise before you can play well, unless you are natrually good at it, but thats a 1 in a million chance. Anyway, Piano sucks. Trombone OWNS! :D
