I want to join the army but my head is pretty big

There are some things you just can't help...

so you like being in army and you're worried about how do you look in your helmet?i'm guessing you'd hate being head shot bro.

If your really worried about that and that is the thing holding you back, then you should not be joining the military, I can't say I believe you have what it takes...sorry.

this is my honest opinion of how your army career will go. you will be shunned to begin with, but will eventually earn the respect of soldiers everywhere. you finish your career with a host of film offers, however decline, statingyou dont lack the passion for filming things in widescreen.

in all seriousness, if that is your passion, you should pursue it. also im sure there must be a station within the armed forces that dont need helmets. and you coulda lways get one costum made. sikhs do, to accomodate their turbans, and if the army wont pay for it you can always pay for one yourself, whhich is relatively cheap considering howmuch protection it gives you.

I was just curious and did a quick measurement of my head its about 21" I wear a 7 1/4 size hat I got a pretty small head. 24" circumference don't seem to big to me honestly I've seen people with some big heads in the military. If your head is big, Will you get made fun of? Yes you will. When I was in the military everyone got made fun of it was all in good fun. The question is are you going to let it bother to the point where its redirecting your career choice? It shouldn't.

The military is a great place to start a carrer or get money for college you will get useful experience. Don't let something superficial get in the way.

They'll give you a nickname for your oversized head.

Join the Navy.

You don't need to swim, your head will keep you afloat :lol:

I'm sure you'll be fine in the army. Word of advice, ask your CO for extra respawns because with a head that big all those crafty snipers with cold blooded and thermal scopes will be camping for headshots on you. Terrorists have barracks too you know! :P

Ok first off this is not a joke and if u think it is then you can leave. So im in highschool right now and I want to join the army after and then go to college but as silly as this seems, this is truly one of the only things holding me back. My head is pretty big and has a 24in circumference(is that big?) and Im afraid id look really stupid with a military haircut and also with a helmet on. Can anyone give me some advice?OldTopics
