That's not the question you should be asking. You should be asking how you can want to do something else.

Not that there's anything wrong with playing videogames or watching TV, but I'd like to think that life is about more than that. Surely you can take a critical look at WHY you want to play videogames and watch TV all day. You can then distill "playing videogames" and "watching TV" down to the why. And once you know the qualities which make you like videogames and TV so much, all you have to do is find something else that has those same qualities.

Sadly, there are people who actually think like that.

I've met quite a few sad and broke-ass people who TRULY believe that they are doing themselves a service by spending a significant portion of their pathetic income on lottery tickets.

Look dude, I'm pretty ****ing sure that you've played a bad videogame before, or seen a bad TV show.

Does that stop you from wanting to waste your entire life on videogames and TV? Apparently not.

Look...you wouldn't say that all viudeogames are the same. You wouldn't say that all TV shows are the same. So WHY would you assume that you're going to be alone your whole life just because you had a bad relationship?

I'm not saying that you SHOULD get a girlfriend. If you don't want to, then you want to. And I'm not even saying that a girlfriend will help you. A LOT of peoples' girlfriends and boyfriends are nothing but trouble. It's true...you might actually be WORSE off if you take peoples' advice here and go get a girlfriend. Maybe you SHOULDN'T get a girlfriend.

But just...take some personal responsibility here. Don't try to pass the blame on to women by saying **** like "no one wants anything serious". Chances are, you routinely meet LOTS of married women with kids, so yeah...the problem isn't that all women just plain suck. It's not them, it's you. If care about how you've only met women who totally are worthless trash, then perhaps you need to re-evaluate your screening process. Or maybe you need to make yourself more desirable (which is something that probably won't happen if you sit on your ass all day playing videogames and watching TV).

All I'm saying is...try to know yourself and what you want. If what you want if to sit on your ass and feel lonely, then fine. That works for you. But please don't come here complaining about a bad relationship, and about how women therefore suck, and about how you now want to sit around playing videogames and watching TV because you feel like you can't get a woman. Please. If that's your thought process, then do NOT blame women.
