I watched 2 films today... both were a resounding success.

First off I watched Mean Creek, which i wasn;t so sure about at first but it turned out to be quite good, it wasn't that groundbreaking but it was entertaining and enjoyable. It had some beautiful shots of nature and housed a moral at the end.

I could have told you more about that if i hadn't watched the astonishing Requiem For A Dream afterwards, and i must say it was a brilliant film, it was very depressing but showed the horror of addiction.

Anyway, has anyone else seen these films, and what did they think?

I liked requiem it was good, but the music made me think of LOTR, I kept picturing dwarves charging because both movies have the same theme music, although Reqiuem had the music first.

I liked them both...though, honestly, Requiem for a Dream was better.

Requiem is a very good movie; that main theme song gives me goosebumps.  Haven't seen the other one.

Haven't heard of any of those. On the subject of films, I'm going to watch Talvisota today. Anyone else see it?
