I watched luck star dubbed this morning

For those of you who watch anime which do you prefer? Subbed or dubbed?

Subbed, I have never liked anything dubbed, it just ruins it for me.

its a family bowl, not a relative bowl (i hope u know what i mean). and subbed is way better than dubbed, although the dubbed haruhi was pretty decent i admit.Gigagamer2

Anyways, I'm gonna have to hear this for myself.

I watch Death Note in Japanese because that's how I saw the first few episodes, and from then on, I got used to the voices and decided I'd just watch the whole series in Japanese.

yeah, i know. I've seen the entire subbed series. I felt like watching it again but all the videos have been taken down so I settled for dubbed.

Definitely subbed. It makes sense to me to have Japanese voices accompanying Japanese animation.

That isn't to say I think dubbed is utterly unwatchable. If it is the only version readily available, I'll settle for it. I just love anime, heh.

to me akirea in dubbed just doesn't seem as two-faced as she is in subbed. Maybe that's because the tone just doesn't work as well in the English language.

Hmm, well I have to say it wasn't that bad. Yeah, the sub is better and I get what you're saying, but I'm actually impressed with that dubbing; they even used honorific suffixes.

That's good, it shows dubbing is making some progress. Like you though I still rather watch the sub. I watched some parts with Konata and Kagami, and they didn't seem to have the same "charm." Still, it was better than a lot of other dubs I've seen.

I'm eagerly anticipating the new OVA. :D
