Depends where/what you drink – £3.50 – 4.00 was generally what I was paying over in conventional pubs in Londonover Christmas. Some wine bars I was paying quite a bit more than that. Provincial UK a little less...

Depends where you go and what you get. I guess I would expect to pay around £2 to £2.50.

Well I was on the Australian dollar at the time which is ridiculously strong, so it worked out fairly cheap for me :)

Well here in Australia I generally pay between 8 and 10 bucks a pint. At the current conversaion rate if you're coming from the US, that's slightly more in US dollar, or 5 - 6 pounds a pint. Ouch!

I'd expect to pay between £1.50 and £3.50 depending where I was. Edit: 'where I was' as in the venue not the area of the UK.

I work in a bar at Manchester City stadium and it's £4 a pint for a Heineken. There are some local pubs that do £1.50 pints though.

It just changes depending on the how posh it is.

You'll get a 4-pack more than 6 (cans are larger), which will be always be cheaper by volume than drinking in a pub.

in pubs outside of london, you're looking at around £2 to £3 a pint, that's how much it tends to be in my town anyway. It's a bit cheaper if you just buy crates of beer, which you can sometimes get 3 of for about £18 if there's a deal on or something.

Conversation rate - the faster you speak, the lower the price. That's the way we do things down under.

Conversion rate - I should be more careful with my fingers.

If it's a pub in a major city then you should expect to pay around 3-4 ( 5-7$) Pounds for a glass If it's a pub in a small town then It's probably around 2 pounds And a six pack bought in a shop is probably a little over a pound.

That went out the window a few years ago. There are quite a few pubs with late licences now.

Nah, the clubs here in Manchester close very late, about 6-7am in the morning. Pubs now close at 4am with lockdowns if needed.
