I like :

Rock. The harder the better but i dislike hardcore metal. Vocals are the most important. Im a sucker for a catchy beat or catchy vocals even if the group is sellout/radio play garbage.

Go.

Tell me, what albums by: King Crimson (outside of In the Court, Red and In the Wake of Poseidon), Jethro Tull (outside of Thick as, and Aqualung) are worth checking out. Also, any 70's prog rock bands recommendations would be most welcome.

Alright, I'm in the mood for some new music, so this could be good.

Santigold

The Knife

And also Jem, although that isn't really a priority since I do already have a lot of similar songs.

The only one I've heard out of those from my own experience is Bloc Party, and I didn't like them too much, though it's been a while. Anyways, thanks for the recommendations, I'll look into them right away.

Good list, i enjoy many of those bands (however some are debatable to psychedelic/space rock) But either way you win, there's two bands Ive never listened to or heard of, No Man, which i just checked out and sound awesome minus the guys vocals, and Heavy Water Experiments. No Man's vocals are a bit of a downside, too breathy for me. Steven Wilson from Porcupine tree is part of the group I think.
