[QUOTE="battlefront23"][QUOTE="timmy0890"] The ones I like are Attack Attack!, Bless The Fall, Chasing Victory, Cry for the Afflicted, Dead Poetic, Killswitch Engaged (already knew this band), The Used. :D Thankstimmy0890
The fact you liked the first just made my day! :D Good luck on your quest for more quality electrocore though. :P

Here's some other good bands: The Devil Wears Prada (The song "still fly" is good) Abondon All Ships - Pedestrian is Another Word for Speed Bump (listen to this) :D Song is amazing in the beginning but it kinda sucks in the middle to the end :(

TDWP is pretty much bomb in every way. I love their newest CD. You should check it out.

[QUOTE="battlefront23"][QUOTE="Got_to_go"]So far, the only band I've gotten into is Modest Mouse. It's hard to describe why I like them. I prefer their sound over more intense, harder rock. It has a certain cool feeling that I enjoy. I've only listened to two of their albums so far, The Moon and Antarctica and Good News for People Who Love Bad News. I prefer TMaA because I like the feel of it, and I think it was of higher and more consistent quality than Good News, which I believe was a bit hit and miss. So Film Guy, what can you discern from this?huytttr

Ever try Brand New? Perhaps Does It Offend You, Yeah? Gorillaz Eve 6 Variations that aren't quite similar, but whenever I'm in the mood to listen to them, I also listen to these guys.

ha first ive heard someone on this forum suggest does it offend you, yeah. they have just enough synth and uniqueness to not be like a innerpartysystem cop-out (which is good band btw). you got a similar taste in music to some degree. the used is decent and chasing victory isnt half bad, though i prefer underoath.

does it offend you yeah? is one of my fav of that genre ips aint bad either and brand new are awesome

Lunatic Soul, and Heard the name a few times.

Pain of Salvation? I groove on some of their stuff, but nothing absolutely mind blowing for me.

Oceansize, Edge of Sanity, Amplifier, Beardfish, Riverside, Henry Fool, The Cure, Gojira, London After Midnight, Phalanx, The Pineapple Thief, Refused, Sculptured, these are the main bands taking up my ear time. Of course I also listen to my regulars, but these inparticular have had a profound impact in me recently.

Anytime. I'm a big prog fan, just got into Beardfish, and Nosound actually. I love Beardfish, they remind me of Frank Zappa. Why does Scandinavia seem to have so many amazing bands all of a sudden? They have the darkest metal, some of the best prog, and some of the catchiest pop music ever like ABBA:D

Their new album Destined Solitare is one of my favorites this year. It was especially Zappa like in sound, thier best by far. If you like cheesy pop from sweden like ABBA check out Miike snow, and I'm from barcelona.

My brother already has some of their stuff that he gathered during his swedish pop phase. What a month that was. Not as bad as his Kate Bush obsession.

You listen to much Henry Fool (involves Tim Bowness)? As far as I know I'm the only person I know irl and on here who has heard/listened to them.

When I was acquiring the No-Man discography it included a lot of Bowness' works, such as with Richard Barbieri, Peter Chilvers and Samuel Smiles, and Henry Fool came along with that. I've got no doubt that it would be hard to physically acquire, I just got it by luck.

I heard there was going to be a re release of No- Man, and all of Steven Wilson's other works. Even his more obscure electronic solo stuff, Bass Communion, and IEM. Might even be a boxset.

They have the best metal, but I think the UK has the best prog. Don't care for ABBA though. :P
