so there was a time i was in a rut and needed $100 bucks in a few days so i tried to think of ways to raise the cash since i was not getting paid for two more weeks. i ended up borrowing some from a friend to pay her back later and the rest came from one of those quick loan fast cash places (stupid, i know. only did it once). before asking for some help though, i tried looking at one of those day labor things where you walk in and someone hires you for a day and pays you the same day as well, but most of them seemed to call for some expertise in construction and other things that would get my hands dirty so i left it alone. so what ideas do you have for raising a quick 100 bucks in 3-4 days given that you don't have a job?
People will pay for yard work. Trim some hedges, mow lawns, offer to wash cars, trim trees. It isn't that difficult.

i live in a college area, no one has homes like that, everything is owned by someone else. pretty much student living so i know they're probably scrapping for cash as well. :P

That's too bad. People generally pay $100 - $200 for tree trimming, more especially if you offer to haul it all off.
i also ending up selling MW3 for $30 which helped, but i didn't like the game anyway and only had it for friends. it was the only game i had with me at the time that i could bare selling. :(
Got any games, movies, CDs, books, or other merchandise you could sell? I know it's hard to part with the goods, but when you need money, you might have to. You could always go back and rebuy the ones you don't want to part with later.

umm it is spring time. grass is growing the flowers are blooming on people shiny cars... there is 2 ways right there
Got a lawn mower? got a friend/ parent with lawn mower? get it start knocking on doors. you can rack in 20-40 bucks in 40 mins -1hr.
get a bucket. few towels, bottle of dawn, a hose sprayer. roll of paper towels, Windex. Start knocking on doors. charge 10-20 car shouldn't take no more then 20
one thing with grass you can set up a weekly- bi week thing with people. DUDE you can knock out 10-20 people in a weekend. do the math. Before i had a job i use to be a kid with no money with a mother who refuse to just give me FREE money. She pointed out side and told me go work for it...
