If a game DVD was slighly damaged, would I be able to install it?

I was just wondering, since one of my game was exposed to extreme frost and col the other day(don't ask why)! Later I installed the game on my computer without any problems, the installation. My question is. If the DVD or any of the data on the DVD was just slightly damagedm would I then be able to install the game at all. Because I installed the game, without any problems!

It depends on how slightly damaged. If slightly means pristine and able to install then yeah, you'll be fine. But if slightly means destroyed then probably no. "Protagonist" and "Antagonist"
