If a student were to kill themselves in a room in the school, would that room still be used?

After it's been cleaned up, why not? It's just a waste of real estate otherwise.

They could use it as a detention room -routystudents are more superstitious than regular ones.

If the room could gain enough infamy it might raise standardised test scores.

Sure it'd be reused. But it'd be a huge hassle to clean up. And if they had a roommate, the roommate wouldn't automatically be given straight A's. So what's the point, really?

The room is currently undergoing cleaning for use of the next student.

The reported gunshot heard in the area was the students car back firing when leaving, defiantly not a gun shot.

So the rumors of death in this room are unfounded.

(official response from college). So no bad PR event took place here.;)

Sure it would be used again. They would just have to clean and decontaminate it. Takes about a month or so to get everything done. Um, so what brought up this question?

While I was in college, a 19 year old girl hung herself 2 houses down from me by the college, haunts me to this day.

I talked to her 2 weeks earlier as she was leaving class, a sweetie, she seemed ok enough mentally but looking back I could see something was wrong. Beautiful girl too, frat house next door had a couple guys that were devastated over it. Always felt like there was something I could have done :(.

Back on topic, I'm sure it wouldn't be used for a good time period afterword.

A guy who wants to suicide has his own rights and decision to do so. I won't hold him back at all. I'd encourage him to do what he wants.

The only difference being, you actually harm others quite deeply with your actions when you commit suicide. You have a family and friends that care about you, and those who you leave behind are most likely the ones that suffer the most. Why not stop and think about that for a minute before you continue to be so selfish, "suicide thinker"?
