If god is real he should be feared more than loved.

I say this because first of all, a lot of miracles seem to happen, but only to strong christian believers. A person will get advice from god and get out of harms way but thousands of people are starving and dying who are not christian. So basically, IF god is real, he only helps those who worship him, hardly the "Pure most righteous being" that people claim he is. so if this is true, then he wouldnt have the slightest problem throwing your ass in hell for all eternity cuz u werent baptized or something. which is why i dont really like god, real or not.

Well if there is a god that is omnipotent don't you think that we in comparison to him/her/it  would be like ants are to us..Do we go out of our way to help ants? So to answer your question no I wouldn't fear him/her/it unless I was under it/her/his foot. DanBrim1

Miracles happen to people everyday, to ALL KINDS of people, believers or not, its how you interpret the miracle and whether you believe in it makes people like me and you know about it. Say for example a strong christian believer has a deadly sickness and doctors say he wont live another day, his family prays for him and he becomes healthy.

If the same thing happened to a non believer without the prayer or with, do you think he would tell us all "ohhhh im alive its a miracle" and report it to the news or whatever.

This is why in many cases you see people start to believe in God after they have a mircale happen to them.

Well if he/her/it created all life I guess that would be righteous as I believe creating is alway better then destroying ...

God lets these things happen because we have freewill, he does not interfere with us.  Occasionally, he does perform miracles, and no it isn't always for Christians, but keep in mind this is very rare.  in fact, I know of specific one but I need to find out more about it before I say anything.  God does not solve all of our problems, we need to solve them ourselves.  God doesn't throw you in hell, you are responsible for your own actions, not God.  Man, people need to stop judging things if they do not know all of the facts first.

Why is that God has to be necessarily responsible for "miracles"?

In regards to the other stuff, as silly as this may sound (take what I am about to say with "grain of salt"), I think the movie of "Oh, God!" offers some "interesting" perspective:

Jerry Landers: If you're God, how can You permit all the suffering that goes on in the world?
God: I don't permit the suffering - you do.

Jerry Landers: People are always praying to You. Do You listen?
God: I can't help hearing. I don't always listen.
Jerry Landers: So then You don't care.
God: Of course I care! But what can I do?
Jerry Landers: What can You do? You're God!
God: Only for the big picture. I don't get into details.

God: I'm not sure how this whole miracle business started, the idea that anything connected with me has to be a miracle. Personally I'm sorry that it did. Makes the distance between us even greater.

Oh man, I know I shouldn't get into this pointless discussions, but after reading that I just had to ask:

WHY does he have to judge us in the first place? What does ANYONE gain with that? If he gave us free will, then why not let us use it? There's other ways to be "good" other than his rules, you know.
