You might be right but I'd like to hear his explanination about why the world would be better off without us, especially with situations around the world like Darfur that suffer because we don't get involved. It's one thing to disagree with the current admin but it's another for us not to have any sort of role in international hot spots. I think our lack of responce to situations causes more problems than when we do get involved.

Im pretty sure I know what'll happen. Iran will launch strikes into Iraq, but the US has the worlds best air force. So, we destroy their air force before they can do any damage. with Iran's air force destroyed, the US military has complete and total uncontested domination over the skies of Iran and Iraq. With air superiority, the US attack aircraft can fly wherever they wish and just destroy any vehicles or tanks they throw at us. without tanks and vehicles, the Iranians will get totally pwned as we kill them

Money is nice but I don't think it'll help all that much. Bringing focus on the issue will though. Darfur is a great example of what happens when don't do anything and wait on the rest of the world to step up.

We area leader, major supporter and financial providerfor both of those organizations. In fact, if we left either one of them they would cease to be relevant. Also, over the last 10-15 years the UN has ceased tobe very effective at fixing any issues that arise when a rogue nation refuses to cooperate. Withoutus they wouldn't have any teeth at all. What givesyou the idea that either one of those organizations would be successful withdealing withany issue, especially if we weren't involved.

I think it's Islamic Africans trying to kill off all the regular Africans or something like that. One organization is in desperate need of troops, so they go and kidnap children from their homes, show the kids unbelievably gruesome things (like people getting executed by having their heads split open and their brains splattering everywhere) until the kids have no emotions left, and then sending them into battle. Guards have been set up to protect the kids, so the kids have to travel all daylong in little clothing with little food and then get crammed into rooms piled on top of each other for safekeeping. Everyone else there is starving because the govt does nothing. It is awful.

Being that it is genocide, it would seem to me that would be enough for someone to do something. Of course we could wait for France and the Swiss to fix it. It appears they've got allthe answers.

Plus, neither the UN nor NATO can replace the economic, political and population void that the fall of the US would bring. If the US collapses, the world would more than likely dip into something that makes the Great Depression look like good times. Darfur would be the least of our problems.
