I would reach behind my back and pull you a random hammer like in the cartoons and hit him in the head with it.
I would find something wrong with what he's saying and through logic, make him look amazingly stupid for saying it.
I usually say something along the lines of "Have you just sat here for the past minute babbling to me with no sense of inner monologue?"
