Hell, I still cannot justify shooting anyone over any amount of material theft; unless youre threatened by a burglar (i.e. he has a weapon), I cant understand why you would shoot someone over a TV or blender or your iPod

That $20 wouldn't even come close to paying the hundreds of dollars in fines I would be paying for assault, as well as my time I would probably spend behind bars. You would need to offer a lot more than that to punch some random person. Now, if you was making this offer to some kids in elementary school it would probably be different since they can use their age to get out of trouble for the most part.
