photosynthesis only evolved along 2 lineages, the lineages that lead to plants and blue-green algae (cyanobacteria). a photosynthetic bear would break the nested hierarchy, a prediction of evolutionary theory.IF however one were to find a photosynthetic bear in nature, he/she would win the nobel prize, and kent hovind would rejoice

Isn't it technically possible that bears could re-evolve photosynthetic features if natural pressures selected for these traits produced by a series of mutations? Read The Ancestor's Tale by Richard Dawkins.
