If all of a sudden the USA declared Christianity the official religion and then based all the laws on the Bible would you leave the USA? (or for our foreign posters insert your own country) Where would you go?

I would, I'd probably join one of those micro-countries out in the middle of nowhere hopefully they'd have an internet connection and a good postal system.

Christianity has always played a big role in the US, but we still have separation of church and state. There's no way the US would suddenly become a theocracy. If anything, there's more and more push to separate even further.

that depends which branch of Christianity. if it was Catholic, for instance, you'd have the Protestants protesting this for many, many years. and if it was the Protestants, the Pope may condemn the US, which would lead to a whole armada of possible side effects. either way, I'd probably stay out of it. which, I guess, means it doesn't really matter.

Unless the First Amendment and Treaty of Tripoli are done away with, it's nearly impossible for the USA to become a "Christian Nation". That said, I would leave ASAP if that happened.
