If there is a door the can be either be push or pull, what way do you open it?

If there is a door that can be opened by either pushing or pulling, what way would you open it?

i dont really know how i open it but i think i open it by pushing because whenever there is a door that can only be opened by pulling i always push it

never really thought about it,but I always push regardless

If there's a handle on the outside, I guess I'd assume that I had to pull it open. If there's not, I suppose I'd push it.

Seeing as how I don't like touching door handles and whatnot, I'd push it open with my foot as I normally do.

I had to open a pull restroom door with my foot once... Needless to say I never touched my shoes again, not like I did in the first place.

I flipping hate those! So get this, in the same restroom I opened the door with my foot in, the sink had one of those "hold the button down to make the water run" faucets, so I swung my leg above the sink, and held the button down with the back of my foot. That was a restroom I swore I'd never go in again.

I run through doors head first, so I guess push.

I'll push it, unless there's someone on the other side and I don't want to push the door into their path / maybe it will make it easier if we're both going through the door.

There's some glass doors in the library that push and pull (one door, not two doors with one doing each), and there's bookcases on the other side so there's not a lot of room when the door opens.

Doors? I punch walls to make my own entrances.

Push because it takes less effort.

I tend to pull - even when it clearly says "push" on the sign. I don't always do that, though :-P

I would probably pull it because really if you could do both and there's a handle to pull then I am automatically going to pull it. The only exception to handles where you can push are those with the long handle like a towel rack.

Stand there and wait for someone to open it for me.

If there's a handle, I'll pull. I hate it when doors you're supposed to push have handles.
