If there was a WET channel, would it be considered racist?

No, not a channel about water or any other beverage. I'm talking about a "White Entertainment Television" channel as opposed to the current BET channel.(Black Entertainment Television channel) Would this be considered racist by the African-American community is the question.

I wouldn't consider it particularly racist, just a bit peculiar since whites are the majority in the US, so most media already focuses on whites.

However, I get what you're saying and I do believe that it would be controversial to have a television channel that focuses on one race more than others just because that race is a majority (and again, most channels already kinda do). I would go as far as to say that oversensitivity about stuff like this, affirmitave action, etc. is almost reverse-racism.

Seriously, every show is a knock off of MTV or an old played out sitcom. I think BET is a great concept but it was executed wrong.
