If they make another sequel to ________, I'll bomb Hollywood.

With the announcement of a FOURTH Austin Powers movie, it has finally dawned on me how much Hollywood rides a franchise until the wheels fall off and then keep pushing theflaming shell of the car. If they make another sequel to these movies, then Hollywood should burn.

1) Spider-Man (you killed it...now let it die)

2) SAW

3) Scary/Date/Epic Movie crapfest(When have ANY of these been remotely funny since Scary Movie 1?)

4) Die Hard

5) Rocky

6) Rambo (even though I'll allow "John Rambo")

Just let it happen,you cant do anything about it.

I feel that if there werent bad movies i ouldnt enjoy the good movies as much,but id still enjoy them a whole lot,just a tad less.

I think I am going to start watching Bollywood movies.

Wth Die Hard? 4th one was great, Justin Long did pretty good, and at least this one had some action (kind of dissapointed with Die Hard 3 and it's action). So what if it didn't swear as much, that's why you buy the DVD, where they didn't cut out all of the swearing :P. Bass7

I watched that unrated cut of LFoDH and I was still severely disappointed, but it was still better then Die Hard 2.

Hey, the Saw series has put out some of the best followups in the genre especially when you look at modern horror movies and their sequels. Look at how craptastic the Friday the 13th series is and you will get what I mean.

I completely agree about tremors and the Resident Evil series though. Tremors stopped being fun after the second one and the Resident Evil series has just been bad the whole way through.....

As for that new Austin Powers announcement, May 9 was a good half-year ago so that announcement isn't recent at all. I am surprised I hadn't heard about that till now however....

Stop looking at it as milking and just enjoy the movies. They're almost all as good as or better than the first ones. Nostalgia blinds people to so many great films. Try to lose the bias and you'll enjoy yourself alot more.OfficialJab

I actually like the idea of a Hellraiser remake. There is so much potential in those movies but they didn't pace them right at all....

I'm sorry, but the 4th Die Hard was the worst one of the bunch. It had a convoluted storyline and script, the action was too over the top, and all the DVD did was feature a little extra swearing and crappy looking CGI blood that they added in during post-production. It didn't feel like I was watching a REAL Die Hard film, but a bad imitation of one.

did it ever dawn on you that you arent actually forced to watch the horrible sequels hollywood produces? All you have to do is simply not purchase a ticket to said movie, i mean its not that hard.Montaya

Did it ever dawn on you that I don't? You don't purchase tickets to news sites or viral videos either, but the previews and reviews to these movies still show up there. Their ad campaigns make hearing about them unavoidable,
