If you are over 13 and are trick or treating in my town you can get fined....???

I've been hearing everyone saying this lately even some of my teachers. My town already has a curfue when you have to stop trick or treating but apparently if you are too old you will get in trouble with a small fine. What gives? This just doesnt seem right.

There was a post about this the other day. Don't remember the town but I guess it is yours apparently.

Personally I don't like it since I think that if you want to trick or treat at any age you should be allowed to even if you would get some funny looks in your later teens possibly. I think 13 is the right age to stop trick or treating but that doesn't mean it is the right age for everyone

I think its completely ridiculous, what are they going to doing IDing people all night, that creates a real good atmosphere...

You mean your parents never dressed you up when little and you didnt even have a choice? I never heard of kids not going most dress up their little babys cause the parents are more excited that anything.AutoPilotOn

With that being said Halloween is my fav holiday because I enjoy all the horror movies on TV but I still never was into the idea of trick or treating. Nothing wrong though with people who enjoy it :)

I think it's because I'm from Las Vegas.

Even if you're not going door to door, you can get free candy pretty much anywhere.

meh Im 16 and im going trick or treating, if someon acuses me of being over 13 Ill just ask them to prove it.
