You know what? It is horribly sad but I think that showing people videos like this creates a compassion that they may not have had before. So I don't have any hard feelings toward the TC. And no, I didn't watch it. I've seen videos way worse than that and I don't need to see anymore videos of animals dying.

I watched it and I didn't cry, probably because I started to laugh half-way through at the weird little "dog seizure" picture that was on the bottom right of the browser.
It is sad, though. My dog, Sam, died two years ago due to bone cancer in his hind leg. We had his leg amputated but the cancer already spread to his spine--far too late for him to be saved. We had to put him down.
not crying at sad things doesn't mean you're a man... admitting your feelings and showing them, however, is... (having said this, I will now watch the video).

they don't chop off the head. They have knife and start cutting the neck. I almost threw up when you could here they were at the breathing tubes. Bleh. Just thinking about it makes me shiver.
Why did the vet let them record this? He must've thought they were f'd up in the head. Anyway I saw this video when I was looking up videos on retrievers and though "No way this can't be real" and sure enough it was. How messed up.

Seen something similar, neo nazi one though. They let his friend (also captive) watch while they beheaded him, literaly sawing his head off with a blade the size of a machete straight out of an Indiana Jones film. Took about ten seconds if I remember correctly. His friend was shot, but imagine his terror watching that.
I watched the intro, the guy posted it so that other people could see how it was done. Presumably so that they can see what will happen if their dog has to be put down.
Made me a bit sad but it was watchable. I've seen worse on the internet, one video nearly brought me to tears it was only my anger that stopped me. . Seems to me that the dog was perfectly healthy also they should have use cyanide which takes 3 minutes to take effect and then takes 10 seconds once active.
I was going to try to watch it but when i saw how happy the dog looked at the begining i decided not to because i thought it was going to be really sad
