What would you ban?
I would ban abortion, and multiple languages (only one worldwide language)

Animal rights. Animals only have the right to be eaten.
The concept sounds pretty funny when you think of it... "Animal rights", he, he he.

your swastika is showing.
but seriously, I don't what I would ban.
I mean, banning something won't mean it will go away, it just means people will do it in the shadows illegaly.

You seem like the kind of folk who wants lots of regulation under one rule.

One language would unite more people and would be far more practical. I don't see how anyone can disagree with me on that.
I'd nominate German.

Nah it'd be better. For example now we can experience all shows without subtitles or crappy dubs, music, movies, could be more universal. It'd be easier to visit places. Could understand more people.
It'd be 100 times more fun.
Radical religion, as in there being a limit to how obsessed you should be with religion. I think having some faith is good, but guiding your entire life by some set of rules that limit your enjoyment on life is just stupid...all this bs i hear from ppl that dont do things cause of some silly rules they go by. You want to believe in god, go ahead and acknowledge him and thank him, but don't live a restricted life...
Andddd the labeling of grls/women as sluts/hoes/etc for having sex...women should be able to enjoy sex as much as a man does without having to get labeled with bad rep...
Andddd the war on drugs...this is just dumb.
I suppose you'd make that one language English :roll:What would you ban?

Not to mention the political implication. I believe that one language would be a step further to uniting the people of the world! Power to the people![QUOTE="AHUGECAT"][QUOTE="swazidoughman"]your swastika is showing.

So has atheism. Josef Stalin and Mao ZeDong alone (who presecuted millions of Christians) put anything Christian (and even Islamic) radicals did to shame.
Atheism is not a religion........So you want to ban people's beliefs. Great idea you got there :roll:Radical religion, as in there being a limit to how obsessed you should be with religion. They wanted every person to be German :|Yeah in Germany and Russia, but wanting a global language is not wiping out races or invading nations. If anything it would unite more people. The opposite of the Nazis beliefs.

You are being ignorant. Stalin and Mao were Communists, THAT was their dogmatic dictatorship. Atheism is a rejection of God's existance, it's not bound by any rule other than that, Atheists are not an organised belief system they are just people.[QUOTE="AHUGECAT"][QUOTE="hillelslovak"]I would ban religion. Atheism is not a religion........I know this (which is why I said "so has atheism"), but what I am saying is that all beliefs (or in the atheists case, lack of belief) have caused terror in the world.
You show me Osama, I show you Josef Stalin, Columbine kids and Timothy McVeigh, you show me Fred Phelps, I show you Michael Newdow (sp). See what I mean?

Actually in this thread I nominated German - nice try, though.
That doesn't matter, banning someone else from using their own language is not right.[QUOTE="AHUGECAT"]I suppose you'd make that one language English  That would be the only logical decision, since English is the most popular language in developed regions. What would you ban?

I do not hate atheism, or any religion. I am just saying you can't say with a serious face only religion causes harm and atheism is perfect.

You can't enforce something like languages.
By enforcing languages you are also enforcing literary arts.
You would also be placing a stupid law onto other people who for them their language may have a cultural importance.

That doesn't matter, banning someone else from using their own language is not right.Well english would be a good idea, because most people use it and most entertainment is in it but the easiest language to learn and master is German, which is why I nominated German.
And no, it isn't. If anything it will help them even moreso.

Easier? Sure. Better? It's arguable. But hey, life would be easy if we were all the same skin color, religion, ethnicity, etc. Languages are art in it's simplest form, why would you want to destroy something so fundamental to the human experience? For convenience? Please Log In to post.
