If you could ban one thing from television

If you were given the power to ban just one thing (from the poll) from television, what would you choose and why?

I would choose commercials. Most are annoying, they interrupt TV programs, and they make the programs shorter.

MTV. And all remaining reality TV shows.

How could anyone choose anything other than 'commercials'? :P

I would ban commercials during movies.

Any other time is fine by me. In fact, sometimes commercials are useful for seeing new movies and when shows come back on the air.

I think graphic violence is more disturbing that influencing. Violence on TV many influence some, but most are probably able to split fantasy from reality so it probably doesn't influence many.

Many countries have the same type of Television shows as USA and yet they dont have the problems of the USA. You cant point at violence shown on TV as if its the source of all evil.

lol Only a very small percentage of people are actually behaviourly influenced by TV violence. Anyways, I doubt you have never watched some type of TV program with violence. Don't even bother lieing.:P
