If you could have any gadget from any Sci-Fi universe, what would you want??

Lets restrict it to roughly man-sized stuff so no Starships or anything. Weapons are ok, but why would you want an object and what would you do with it?

I'd personally go for a Tricorder from ST because the ability to scan objects, through materials, search for lifeforms, etc would be staggeringly useful.

My own symbiote costume. Of course, it would have to have had another host with some sort of powers before I became it's new host. Doesn't necessarily need to be like Spider-man or Venom. Very useful in the fact that I would never have to change clothes or purchase new ones ever again as it does have the natural ability to shapeshift. Also amplifies the host's own strength and skills. Pretty sweet indeed.

Clothes that look normal but weigh 100 kilos. Shoes, wrist weights, and an undershirt. This way they still look like clothes, unlike those clunky lead leg weights and walmart 20-lb vests, so I can keep up my training without getting physically blocked by or draw attention to myself.

The tricorder would be extremely useful.. but I'm going to have to go with lightsaber. I've had several dreams in which I had one, and it was beyond awesome.
