But I have a feeling that the thing that came down at the finale didn't actually save them. That could be a fhalshforward from season 5 or 6. Nothing in Lost is ever straightforward so I really doubt something just came and saved them. But yeah, Locke will definatly stay back on the island. And who do you think it is in the casket? I'd have to go with either Juliet. I think that because when the guy asked Jack if it was friend or family he said "either" . Plus he was about to kill himself over her dieing, plus Kate said she didn't want to go.

Good theory about Juliette. Another thing I noticed though is that the funeral home was in kind of a ghetto so to speak, a not so nice looking section of town. Maybe that's a hint?
