If you could instantly learn a language and only knew english, what would it be?

Say you only knew the English language. If you could instantly learn any language in the world, what would you want to speak? Also, please give a lot of reason as to why you would want that particular language.

For me it is Japanese. I'm working on learning it right now actually. One reason I'd want to learn it instantely is it is some much more difficult that other languages! Culrturaly though, I love many things about Japan. Their technology (Akihabara anybody?). I also just love the atmosphere that Japnese architecture and the like conveys. Their foods also awsome! How about you?

Latin, I'm a very devote Catholic, probably a future priest, and nothing Beats a Latin Mass, it's very Awesome and Amazing, I wish I could speak Latin. ferrari2001

I feel that way about French :P but to each his own.

Hindi (to start an outsourcing software company)

Japanese (to understand all that crazy japanese media)

Croatian (to impress my croatian friends)

Polish so I could communicate with my mom's side of the family in Poland. :)

Don't ask why. Well, Japanese I can explain, because I want to go there. It's not an anime thing, or a video game thing, it's just that I want to go to Japan and be able to easily get around.

My native language is Persian and i know English. i would like to learn french and Korean.

reasons.: French,it is the most important language after English for communication,also is Spanish but i'm not interested to lean that.

Korean,I'm going to work in Korea after a couple of years,maybe 5 years later and in this 5 years i can learn Korean very well.

I live in Japan and I like it here, but I don't have this unhealthy obsession with the place and those that do will come down hard when the honeymoon is over.
