memory talent: the ability to never forget anything I ever hear or see....I hate studing for tests
guitar that way i wouldn't have to start learning friday when i pick my first guitar up, getting a standard for starters then may go acoustic.
superhero powers well thats a talent also i guess saving people from danger beating bad guys remaining unknown to the world while you do good for justice everyday.
Ive never heard a guitar in church  When I used to go, it was always organs and high pitched singing xPI'm good at art but would like to improve.
I'd love to be able to play the guitar and sing so that I could lead worship in church. Music is purhaps the area of ministry I lack most.

Many churches do. My home church is a traditional church with a piano and organ and has about 90 people. The church I go to in college with about 75 people uses a contemporary band with guitars, drums, and such (has music like this). I occasionally go to a very contemporary church called NewSpring that does have music like Skittit's (here is a link to there website). That church has over 8,000 people there every Sunday. It's pretty much a rock concert (at times).

 I havent been to church since, I think, around 7th grade. Ive never really believed in a high being (Although I realize its possible) but I thought it was pretty disrespectful to everyone at the church for me to go and just sit there saying I believe when I really didnt. I told me mom and she didnt make me go anymore :lol:Ya know what I would really laugh about? If I heard Marilyn Manson playing in a church. I dont mean a Satanists church, I mean the House of God. Oh man, that would make me cry laughing

I agree that someone shouldn't be forced to go to church but if parts of it interest you then go. Many churches do some rather interesting things like NewSpring church that I mentioned to get people into church. They are often called seeker-friendly churches as they try really hard to get people in church so that they can hear what is being taught. This church will do things like have secular rock concerts. Don't get me wrong, they also do great things for the community like build a house for a single mother for Mother's Day (think Extreme Home Makeover) and give clothing to all the kids in a local elementary school in a bad part of town.
I personally have a lot of unique church ideas for when I'm in a ministry position such as a lot of visual teaching material.
So long as you practice enough you could. Some people can become talented more easily than others in a shorter amount of time however.

I always thought that a talent was a natural ability or something.

Oh yeah. I dont practice any religion, for reasons previously stated, but I must say that I do love learning more about it and such. I love the religious debates on this forum so I can get a look inside of anothers way of believing what they believe. I was thinking of an "I" word but I cant remember what it was >_>[QUOTE="mindstorm"]So long as you practice enough you could. It partly is but partly isn't. Drawing for example can be learned... just some might naturally be able to learn quicker.
