NY is a big place. I'd live in Manhattan. It's expensive as ****.You need to make big money to actually live there.
Without a doubt. In all seriousness, I'd like to do what my brother did, which was live in Lower Manhattan (he had his own place around Canal Street while he attended NYU Grad School and afterwards). I think once I finish my fieldwork I would love to live down there. It is such an amazing place to be.
Those that say Vegas, sure its a really fun town but I don't recommend it for any more than a week. Anywhere in the world for a month, I'd choose Japan.
Japan or Thailand or China... if I could speak their language at least... learning japanese right now, I can say that I could become quite skilled in 3 or 4 years.
