Anice ferrari, a durable Hummer, a four-wheel drive pick-up truck, or some type of luxury car?

Either the 1967 Shelby GT500 from Gone in 60 Seconds, or a 1996 Toyota Supra TT with a custom bodykit (or something wide and sexy :P) with an awesome custom paint job (some really big and flashy body art). NOt too big on performance issues. I mean if it goes vroom vroom it's good.
if i had a racetrack and a nice garage then a McLaren F1
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/McLaren_F1
for everyday Driving a 2010 Corvette ZR1

a 1995 Jeep Cherokee Sport with 0 miles on it, mint condition. Green.
exact car I have now, and I wouldnt trade it for any other car in the world. Except the above.
It may not be the fastest, best handling, or most expensive...but **** do I love it:
Shelby GT 500 Super Snake
(In Texas Tech colors FTW)

Ive hated Mustangs my entire life, but damn...Ford really nailed it with this most recent generation.
One of the best looking cars in history, imo.

I agree.
The only other car I love almost as much (looks wise) is the Aston Martin Vanquish
[QUOTE="entropyecho"]3 votes for mustangs in the thread already I'm referring to the older cars.No love for classic American Muscle? :(

I agree with the GT advocates. If I could have any car I wanted, it would be a Shelby GT 500 from the 60's or 70's
That's old news, brah. Veyron hasn't been on top since 2007. http://www.2sportscars.com/shelby-supercars-ultimate-aero-fastest-car.shtml Not by more more than 10mph, but yes I'll admit I'm not up to date with automobile news.[QUOTE="kdawg88"]
The fastest production car in the world: Bugatti Veyron
With a top speed of 252mph.
F1_2004
A Subaru WRX (and the Sti) has a bit of everything
Reasonably speedy (all the speed you need in public roads)
Durable (it's famous in rally racing for a reason)
All wheel drive (get you through rough weather)
Mildly luxurious (not that I really care about luxury)
All wheel drive (get you through rough weather)

your other points are extremely credible, but I only took issue with this one....
of all the cars I have seen flipped over during rough weather, 80% of them share the AWD system of the Subaru, VW, etc.. I wont fault the car for this, mind you, its just people seem to think "Oh, I got a subaru, it can handle anything so I can drive 80 mph on this downhil road in the middle of a rainstorm!" and they flip.
Ive lost two friends due to this mentality. I was in the car with one of them. AWD =/= safe during stormy weather. A degree of safety above other vehicles, perhaps, but not invincibility.
Unfortunately, it is generally the younger, less road-savvy, crowd that purchases these vehicles.
A delorian.. No really, with all the stuff on it from back to the future, with a licence plate that says mcfly.

I know what you mean, but having lived most of my life in a place where it snows a lot in winter, I have seen a fair share of cars getting stuck on snow and this is when I personally find AWD most useful.
