all i really care about is whether or not my death is painful.
but as for how i would feel about my time on earth, i wouldlnt be too sad since all ive done is sit around and play video games, and i cant imagine myself doing anything else in the future (besides college, job, etc).
I wouldn't be feeling anything after I'm dead, so I can't say.
But assuming that I would die tomorrow, and looking back on my past, I would say that I would not be very happy about my time spent on earht. Yes, I definately had some good experiances, but I feel there are so many other great things to enjoy. So much more to come, so much that I don't want to miss out on.
If I died tomorrow, I would live today like it was my last. To answer your question, no. I haven't even lived my life yet. I still have a long way to go. There's so much to experience, and I'm not ready to go just yet.
If i had any capacity to feel anything about the situation then i'd feel disappointed. Not because i have too many goals for the future but simply for the fact that my fight against non-existance is over. I am one of the few that i know that would prefer immortality to a relaxing, worry-free death. Even if the planet i live on has a short life span and there is no means to travel away. I would still rather drift through the universe alone than die. Maybe i'll find another planet to live on and get mamed by bat-mantises.
You know, I think I would feel pretty good. I have done a lot. My writing has won awards, my photos have been in two books, I have been expelled from school once, worked in an office, flown a plane, and I think I have touched a few people through the years. I would want to do one more thing tomorrow, before I left. Then i would be satisfied.
No because I did practically nothing, and yes because I had helped many people with their problems over the years, in particular one friend of mine. Frankly I wouldnt care if I died tomorrow. I know I have made enough of an impact on a few peoples lives so that when they have kids they will be named after me. :P
