Build a big bullet proof box and fill it with a 10 year supply of Pop-tarts. Then I would surround the box with hidden land mines and would post a big poster with my face and the words, "I am in here!" He walks close then boom.
If it's during day I would go out my front door and see if there's anybody inside a stationary car nearby, then I would walk up to them and shoot them in the face. If there's no one inside the nearby cars, I would look for the first person who looks at me and shoot him or her in the face.
If it's during night I would wait next to the backdoor, just out of view. The backdoor in my house is perfect for a break in. There are multiple doors in between the backdoor and the bedrooms, which are at the second floor. Ontop of that, there's this nice soft carpet infront of the backdoor, so when they break the glass, nobody can hear it. After they open the door, I shoot them in the face.
I would hide in the most remote place possible, BUT I would leave a clever little trail of clues to find me. If the assassin could put the clues together and find me then I would give him a cookie before I killed him.
I'd leave out cookies and milk on the table every night, so when he finally sneaks in the house to kill me, he'll see the cookies and milk and think I'm too nice of a guy to kill.
Fake my own death(the assasin would take credit and get payed), steal a car, go to Canada, buy some weapons and armor, lay low for a while, come back and get the guy who ordered the hit. I would sell the rights of my story and get payed.
