Haha, okay.Just because i may not like what the artist believes or does, does not mean i can not like whatever they can produce. Many people hate Scientology, but most TV and Hollywood stars are big into and people still watch them. Kanye and Beiber still have millions of fans despite them being the biggest D bags probably in the world.KurushioBut Kanye still has made respectable music in the past(Yeezus was alright, and everything before including MBDTF was great)

....I didn't find out till I was 14 or so *31 now* dont get pissy because others don't involve them selves in the very lives of artists they listen to as though trying to crawl into their wombs if they had them. I was a casual queen listener I'd heard all the songs but I didn't go out of my way to find out the lyrics or watch or listen to discographies.
Ontopic: No It wouldn't hinder me from listening to good music.
No.................What if they tried to rape my ears with some sort of freaky gay voodoo?............................

No need to get pissy. Â The difference is that was 17 years ago, today it's pretty common knowledge and definitely should be known by someone who claims to have been a Queen fan for years.
I liked Frank Ocean, then I found out Frank Ocean was gay, and now I still like Frank OceanJML897Isn't frank ocean bi? Anyways, yes I would/

well because he died in 1991, and it is now 2013. Â It's pretty much common knowledge that he was gay. Â
TC probably only just found out it was from AIDS, I'm sure.

hahahahahahahahaha. You obviously aren't very familiar with Queen. He was super gay, and he sure as shit acted like it. Plus, the name of the band? Yeah, that's where it came from. Also, the song, "We Are the Champions", is about homosexual rights and acceptance.Â
Of course. I certainly didn't think less of Judas Priest when I learned that Rob Halford is gay.ghoklebutter
Dude. Rob Halford for the win. Judas Priest kicks immense amounts of ass. And I love that Rob Halford wore the crazy leather getups as a gay lifestyle kind of thing, but it totally caught on as the default style for metal bands for decades.
well, does it mean all the time they were singing a love song, they were referring to a guy? i'd be disappointed, but i wouldn't stop listening to them.
 I'm pretty sure Freddie Mercury was full-on gay, not bi. And to answer you're question, I do listen to Queen occasionally and the thought never really crosses my mind. In fact, one of my favorite songs is "This Charming Man" by The Smiths which is a song about a gay encounter.

gay people are generally not effeminate, maybe you should grow up?
Absolutely.
For example, from time to time I am still listening to Erasure's music and their singer, Andy Bell, was like one of the biggest gay icons in pop music at the time.
Anyway, the only time the artist's behaviour influenced my interest in their art was when I've found out the lyrics of some of the songs of some black metal bands. I mean, I don't care what people believe in (or pretend to believe in) and whatnot, but listening to how some guys would like to torment some other guys just because they believe in something else?
Didn't feel right to me. Still, didn't drop the bands completely. Only respective songs. Â
Nope. Thats why I stopped listening to Frank Ocean tbh, not gonna listen to a guy singing love songs about another man that is disgusting imo.
I don't judge people on their sexual preferences.
Who they are as a person (ie violent /noneviolent, abusive and so on) has far bigger impact on me, and even then I seperate the things they do for a living from their personal lives (also meaning that I do not care about any actors apart from the acting they do on screen, and game devs apart from the work they do.
So Yes if I found out a music artist was gay I would still listen to them. If they were from a way forign nation I would still listen to them.
