Lol, opinions on what?Does it matter? Nothing would change, although I might ask his opinion on some things.
Nagru
What are you and your friends going to do to him?I actually just found that out recently actually.

I don't mean like legally or anything but would you still talk to him? For me, I'd like to say that I'd be open to that sort of thing but I don't know. It would be really tough.GatlingHammer
I don't see why it would be a problem.

[QUOTE="comp_atkins"]not be shocked. i am marrying her.GatlingHammerAre you a girl too? O.oO. can i say yes so i get lots more gs attention? :P
I have had this happen with one of my childhood friends and a lot of my coworkers are either gay or bi. I have discussed the topic a great deal with them and continue to be friends with them. Heck, in the past few days I have had a bisexual girl explain to me her like and attraction to me. Sadly, we cannot go any farther than friendship due to holding to such radically different views. Just because I mention our need for repentance before a holy God on a regular basis doesn't mean we can't hang out and be friends. :PmindstormI find this to be quite sad. I believe in God also, but the fact that you cannot go further than a friendship because she is bi is unfortunate. Sometimes you have to put religion aside and go with your feelings. My parents are very religious and wouldn't be too happy with me saying this, but I think sometimes you have to go with your heart.

I plan to be a pastor. That calling and spreading the Gospel message is more important to me than any relationship I might have with a female. If I spontaneously wished to become a missionary in a foreign country, how could I possibly expect a non-believing wife to go with me? Heck, the only reason why I'd even wish to be married is to have a partner to share Christ with while going through life.
Also, I did not turn her down because of her being bi, I turned her down because she doesn't love Jesus.

Are you a protestant?

Are you a protestant? To put my previous statement another way, I simply cannot share my passions in life with someone who does not share those same passions. And I am indeed Protestant. To be specific I am Southern Baptist but have some Reformed Baptist beliefs.
